Harrisville Taekwondo: Planning Around Core and Special Programs

MOD's Harrisville dojang is at 539 N Harrisville Rd, Ogden, UT 84404. Its program mix makes one question especially useful: are you choosing a starting class, or exploring a separate special program? Knowing that difference helps you use the schedule and trial calendars correctly.

Start with the core program that fits

Harrisville offers children's, adult, family, and private-lesson programs. Little Dragons is ages 4–6; the children's youth program is ages 7–12. Adult martial arts is ages 13+, and family training begins at ages 7+.

Ask about special programs separately

Harrisville is the competition-team hub, and MOD's competition and demonstration teams are listed there by invitation. An interest in tournaments or performances is a reason to speak with the instructors, not an indication that a new student is already eligible for a team.

Kummooyeh, the Korean sword and archery program, is also offered. Harrisville's published schedule includes Tuesday and Thursday 10:15 AM Kummooyeh sessions. Confirm availability with the team before arranging a first visit; a schedule entry is not a guarantee of an open booking.

Make the first visit manageable
