Inside the MOD Taekwondo North Ogden dojang

MOD's North Ogden dojang is at 1966 North 400 East St, Ogden, UT 84414. The location highlights its largest training floor, small classes, and a free parent viewing area. For a parent considering a first class, the viewing area is an opportunity to see how your child responds to the instruction.

Choose the starting age group

Little Dragons serves ages 4–6, while MOD's children's youth program serves ages 7–12. North Ogden's trial calendars include Little Dragons and Beginners (Ages 7+). If your child has previous martial arts experience, discuss it with the team before assuming an advanced class is the right first visit.

Read the children's program to understand the age-group differences. A first visit is about beginning to learn, not demonstrating a particular level of performance.

Prepare for observing, not coaching

Bring your child in comfortable activewear with water, and arrive 5–10 minutes early. No uniform is required for the trial. Let the instructor know about a concern that may affect participation.

From the viewing area, watch how instructions are given and how your child engages. Avoid adding directions from the sidelines. After class, ask both your child and the instructor what they noticed.

Keep other program questions distinct

North Ogden also lists family martial arts, private lessons, and Kummooyeh. It does not list a separate adult martial arts program in the shared program directory. If an adult or family member wants to join, ask about the appropriate available class instead of assuming a children's trial calendar covers everyone.

The North Ogden location page provides the current instructor roster, photos, and weekly schedule. Use it to check the trip and timing, then choose North Ogden on the free-trial page. A clear first-class plan makes the visit easier for both parent and child.
